Lixibox is a full-stack one-stop omni-channel solution for luxury affordable brands to reach GenZ consumers in Vietnam, one of the fastest growing regions in the world. We focus on optimizing operation by leveraging an in-house agency and the in-house technology solutions to bring the most effective brand launching that would benefit the end consumers.

The Regional Commercial Expansion Director SEA is responsible for building Lixibox’s next growth engine beyond Vietnam. This role will not be a daily operator of Vietnam sales execution. Instead, you will govern Vietnam commercial performance at the weekly leadership level, while spending the majority of time designing, launching, and scaling Lixibox’s SEA expansion roadmap.

You will translate the company’s top-down growth targets into bottom-up commercial plans, market-entry playbooks, and scalable channel execution across Southeast Asia.

I. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. SEA Expansion Ownership (Primary Focus)

  • Own the commercial strategy and rollout plan for expansion into prioritized SEA markets (e.g., Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia).
  • Build market-entry playbooks across:
    • Channel selection (Marketplace vs DTC vs Wholesale)
    • Unit economics and margin model
    • Launch sequencing and go-to-market calendar
  • Lead cross-functional launch readiness with Ops, Brand, Finance, and Tech.
  • Define scalable operating structures so new markets can ramp quickly with minimal reinvention.

2. Vietnam Commercial Governance (Weekly Leadership Level)

  • Oversee Vietnam revenue and margin performance through weekly commercial leadership reviews, not daily execution.
  • Manage through existing Sales/Channel Leads to ensure:
    • Forecast delivery
    • Promotion discipline
    • Channel accountability
  • Ensure Vietnam remains stable, profitable, and operationally strong as the foundation for SEA scaling.

3. Bottom-Up Planning + Target Translation

  • Own annual and quarterly review and planning across SEA, bridging:

 Company top-down targets → Bottom-up channel plans

  • Build detailed commercial models by: Channel contribution, CAC / ROI, Inventory requirements and Expansion investment needs
  • Partner with Finance and S&OP to ensure growth plans are realistic, fundable, and executable.

4. Omnichannel Strategy Playbook Development

  • Design repeatable systems for:
    • DTC performance engines
    • Shopee/Lazada/TikTok Shop scaling
    • Wholesale partner expansion
    • Future “Experience Hub” retail format (optional pilots)
  • Own promotion governance frameworks across markets to protect brand integrity and margin health.

5. Regional Operating System & SOP Scaling

  • Build the commercial operating cadence and SOP infrastructure that can travel across SEA markets.
  • Drive automation and KPI governance around: Promo ROI, Channel margin leakage, Demand forecasting and Execution scorecards

6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead regional commercial growth through influence and systems.
  • Work closely with: Vietnam Sales Leads (execution owners), Brand Directors (premium positioning), Tech/Product (platform expansion readiness), Operations (inventory + fulfillment scaling)

II. REQUIREMENTS:

Must Have

  • Native/bilingual Vietnamese + English
  • 7–12+ years in commercial leadership, growth, or regional expansion
  • Strong experience building and scaling SEA e-commerce channels (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)
  • Proven ability to build successful bottom-up plans against top-down targets
  • Experience launching new markets, business units, or turnaround growth engines

Ideal Background

  • Vietnamese or Viet Kieu with regional exposure
  • Operator + strategist: can build playbooks, not just run a sales team
