Lixibox is a full-stack one-stop omni-channel solution for luxury affordable brands to reach GenZ consumers in Vietnam, one of the fastest growing regions in the world. We focus on optimizing operation by leveraging an in-house agency and the in-house technology solutions to bring the most effective brand launching that would benefit the end consumers.
I. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and ensure all business operations comply with current Vietnamese laws and regulations (Enterprise Law, Labor Law, Tax Law, E-commerce Law, Cosmetics Law, and Medical Device regulations).
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate legal risks across all company operations — including advertising, promotions, sales channels, and cross-border transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate all types of contracts: commercial agreements, distribution contracts, employment contracts, service agreements (domestic & international).
- Develop, update, and enforce internal company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and reduce operational risk.
- Oversee and support tax compliance matters: corporate income tax (CIT), value-added tax (VAT), personal income tax (PIT), and transfer pricing documentation.
- Advise HR/People team on labor law compliance: employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, terminations, social insurance, and union-related matters.
- Handle business registration, product licensing, cosmetic notifications, import/export permits, and other regulatory filings.
- Liaise with government authorities, regulators, and external legal counsel when required.
- Provide legal training to internal teams to raise compliance awareness.
- Support Group (Global) expansion projects with legal due diligence and cross-border legal structuring.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of continuous in-house legal experience (excluding law firm and administrative roles).
- Preferred background in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, beauty, consumer products, or platforms, with strong business acumen.
- Strong in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (distribution, services, KOL/influencer, platform, international).
- Hands-on experience in compliance, labor law, corporate legal, and internal policy development (end-to-end execution).
- Proven cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain) and experience reporting to CEO/COO.
- Solid risk assessment in legal and tax matters related to contracts, promotions, payments, and commercial transactions.
- Familiar with e-commerce regulations, advertising laws, promotions, and consumer terms.
- Bonus: experience in cosmetics notification, product claims, import permits, or beauty/health regulatory matters.
- Strong English for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating with international stakeholders.
- Business-minded, proactive, fast-thinking; comfortable leveraging AI/technology to improve productivity.
