- Strategic Growth & Channel Expansion:
- Build and lead long-term retail expansion strategy across markets and formats).
- Drive location strategy: identify, evaluate, approve and optimize store network (open / relocate / resize / close).
- Lead end-to-end new store opening process: site survey, feasibility study, ROI modelling, recruitment & training, project execution, soft opening & grand opening.
- Act as PIC for leasing and retail property negotiations — lead end-to-end site acquisition processes.
- Work directly with mall operators, developers and landlords for site sourcing, commercial negotiation, contract terms, and relationship management.
- Lead feasibility studies, rental benchmarking, business case modeling and ROI evaluation for each store.
- Monitor mall traffic trends, leasing pipeline opportunities and new mall development plans.
- Manage lease renewals, rental renegotiations, and legal compliance with leasing agreements.
- Build long-term partnerships with real estate partners to secure prime retail spaces.
- Drive omni-channel retail experience and new revenue formats aligned with brand strategy.
- Financial & Profit Management:
- Full P&L responsibility for the retail channel.
- Develop and execute financial planning: budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimization.
- Monitor key business metrics: Revenue, LFL growth, conversion, ATV, UPT, margin, shrinkage.
- Ensure effective cost control and maximize ROI for retail initiatives.
- Team Development & Customer Service:
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing retail leadership team.
- Recruit, coach, and develop talent pipelines (Store Manager / Area Manager).
- Foster a customer-centric culture and sales excellence mindset.
- Strengthen training programs on sales, service, merchandising, and leadership capability.
- Retail Strategy, Operations & Display Excellence:
- Lead execution of retail strategy to ensure store performance & customer experience excellence.
- Standardize and enforce operational SOPs across all stores.
- Maintain best-in-class store hygiene, service standards, VM execution, and retail KPIs.
- Oversee daily/weekly/monthly retail performance routines and audit processes.
- Inventory, Demand Planning & Market Insights:
- Direct demand planning, stock allocation, and inventory health.
- Ensure right product availability to support sales plans.
- Analyze consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and industry trends to shape commercial decisions.
- Trade Marketing & Promotions:
- Develop and implement promotional plans to drive traffic and sales.
- Coordinate cross-functionally for in-store activations and retail marketing campaigns.
- Analyze promotion efficiency and optimize future campaigns.
- Other Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Inventory Management and Store Compliance teams to conduct store audits in accordance with company regulations.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives, and work closely with Corporate and Marketing teams.
- Perform other tasks and assignments from the Line Manager based on business needs.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years experience in retail; 3+ years in senior multi-store leadership.
- Strong knowledge of retail P&L, operations, expansion, leasing, and customer experience.
- Education: College degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related fields.
- Personality: Detail-oriented, honest, responsible, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the retail market, consumer trends, and regulations related to retail operations.
- Experience in the cosmetics market is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Technical Skills: Data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
