Lixibox is a full-stack one-stop omni-channel solution for luxury affordable beauty brands, funded by well known Silicon Valley investors. The company focuses on optimizing operations by leveraging in-house agency and technology solutions to bring effective brand launching for end consumers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Engineer to join our data team and assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our data infrastructure and systems. 

As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with other members of the team to design, implement, test, and document data pipelines, ETL processes, databases, and data warehouses. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues with data quality, performance, and scalability, and proposing and implementing solutions to address them. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments in the organization, such as IT and business units, to gather requirements and ensure data integration and consistency across different systems and applications.

I. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in designing, implementing, testing, and documenting data pipelines, ETL processes, databases, and data warehouses

• Troubleshoot issues with data quality, performance, and scalability, and propose and implement solutions to address them

• Collaborate with other departments in the organization, such as IT and business units, to gather requirements and ensure data integration and consistency across different systems and applications

• Work closely with other members of the data team, such as Data Scientists and Analysts, to understand their data needs and help them access, analyze, and visualize data in a timely and secure manner

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Document the data infrastructure, processes, and best practices, and provide training and support to the relevant stakeholders;

II. REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Strong background on data modeling, data analytical platform, and SQL querying.
• At least 2 years eof xperience with data ingestion, processing, transforming, and visualization tools and frameworks, such as Pandas, Dbt, Mage-AI, Metabase…
• Solid experience on data crawling. 
• Having knowledge and experience with implementing data governance is also a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
• Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills (both native and English), with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail, with a commitment to produce high-quality deliverables on time.
